Maninder Chana was
the driving force behind
Mixed
Nuts. The comedy troupe garnered accolades for its cutting edge
humor. And Maninder was nominated for a best actor award for his work.
He has also written and directed several films, including ones based on
stories contained in this collection: Sammy's Dilemma, Mohandas & Bette:
A Love Story, both of which have had success on the festival circuit.
Recently, he wrote and directed a 6 hour long sci-fi series for radio.

He has signed a development deal for his feature film,
Sikhs on Ice,
also based on a short included here. Watch for it in the fall of 2008.
His work in film and television earned him a 2005 Reel World
Trailblazer nomination.
